CONTACT LENSES
Wearing contact lenses carries risks depending on the type of lens worn, the care system used, and the length of wearing time. Complications range from mild, transient stinging and superficial eye redness to sight threatening corneal ulcers with possible permanent scarring. Complying with proper lens care techniques and follow-up recommendations can stop the onset of any problems or allow their detection at an early stage.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY
A good contact lens fit begins with a thorough eye evaluation to insure the most up to date prescription, and to rule out any pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.

We will follow-up the initial fit to promote healthy long term wear. Any required changes in fit or materials will be made to achieve the best fit possible.

All patients are taught how to take proper care of their contact lenses, and the possible consequences should proper care be ignored.

Long-term follow-up will be urged to monitor the condition of the contact lens, that proper lens hygiene is being maintained ,and that updates in contact lens care can be made.

We are committed to staying current with improvements in contact lens materials, care systems, and fitting techniques.
